Laurence S. Boisvert

Larry joined the firm in 1989 and became a partner in 1992. He concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning (including the preparation of "living" trusts, wills, health care proxies and durable powers of attorney), probate and estate administration, and real estate conveyancing. Having practiced law for over 25 years, Larry has extensive experience and a unique expertise in connection with all aspects of elder law including complex trusts, Medicaid planning, and estate tax planning. He will take the time to listen to your goals and concerns, discuss the laws and your options, and explain the tools that can be used to prepare you or your parents for Medicaid or other long term planning.

Over the years, Larry has represented clients before the Probate Court in every county of Massachusetts as well as the Land Court and the Office of Medicaid for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Larry has also argued cases as lead counsel before the Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court on matters pertaining to estates and probate administration. He is regularly appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem by the Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk and Worcester Probate Courts. Born in Dedham, Larry is a graduate of St. Michael's College in Vermont and Boston University School of Law where he was selected as a John F. Hennessey Scholar for academic excellence. Larry is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, past-president of the Acton Rotary Club and is involved in various organizations in Acton and Concord. For many years, Larry has been a dedicated hockey and baseball coach for the youth programs in Acton. Larry enjoys skiing and spends much of his free time with his wife, Erin, and his two children in their Acton home.
